  • Step 1: Check Your Progress in STAR
    • Login to STAR to check your progress on the Academic Essentials tab.
  • Step 2: Meet with Your Academic Counselor
    • If it looks like everything is complete or you’re not sure, schedule an appointment with your academic counselor.
    • At this appointment, you and your counselor will review your degree requirements to verify your eligibility to graduate. If you have met all requirements, you and your counselor will complete the Graduation Certification Form. You will get 3 hard copies of the completed form (with signatures).
  • Step 3: Turn in Your Completed Graduation Certification Form
    • Turn in your completed Graduation Certification Form (with signatures) to WCC Admissions & Records
    • You may also choose to complete the bottom portion of the Graduation Certification Form to order a diploma, however, graduates are not obligated to purchase a diploma.
  • Step 4: Register to participate in the 2024 Commencement Ceremony
    • 2024 Commencement Ceremony RSVP
      ***Submitting a graduation certification does mean you will be participating in the Commencement Ceremony, you will also need to RSVP for participation.

Diploma Fee

Students have the option to receive their degrees and/or certificates free of charge. When you file the free option in the graduation application, your degree(s) and/or certificate(s) will be posted to your unofficial transcript in STAR and your official transcript at the end of the term.

For students who would like to receive a printed diploma, there is a non-refundable fee which covers the cost of your diploma. You will receive one (1) diploma written in English, one (1) diploma written in ‘ōlelo Hawai’i and one (1) diploma cover. 

  •  $25.00 minimum

Diplomas will be mailed to the student within 10 weeks after the semester ends. Students will receive an email just before diplomas are mailed.
