Yes, each graduate will receive two tickets. Tickets will be required for entrance into the Palikū theater. Beginning on April 17th, 2023 tickets for register participants can be picked up at Hale ‘Ākoakoa 232 (Student Activity Center) from 9am-3:30pm Monday–Thursday. If those times do not work please contact Ka‘ahu Alo at kaahualo@hawaii.edu to make other arrangements.
Yes, a link will be sent out soon. Please check back on the WCC website or ask your graduate for link as time gets closer.
Graduates should arrive no later that 3:00pm. Students will receive name cards, have a quick run through and participate in a WCC Kihei ceremony. Please follow the instructions of the WCC staff directing you.
Doors will open around 4:00pm.
Live stream ink will be shared at a later time. Hale Mana‘opono will be one of the locations for guests to watch a live stream of the event. TRiO SSS may also be a site that will stream the live event.
Guest Parking will be in the Hale A’o parking area. You will be directed by a WCC staff member to the available parking lots.
Yes, cap and gown is required. The WCC Bookstore is selling caps and gowns for $44.95 Black cap and gowns will be used.
Yes, you are more than welcome to decorate your cap. Please ensure that all decorations are appropriate for other graduates and attendees.

Yes, you will be directed to the Great Lawn for a lei ceremony.
No, if you purchased a diploma, it will be mailed to you. You will be presented with an academic scroll representing your completion.
*If you have already been awarded a degree/certificate and would like to order a degree/certificate, submit this form with a $25 processing fee to the admissions and records office. Diplomas can be purchased by filling out a diploma request form.
As of now guest attending the live Commencement Ceremony are not required to wear masks but are encouraged to wear masks while in Palikū Theater.
