Commencement is a proud milestone for your graduate, and we’re excited to have you be part of the celebration.
Whether you’re attending in person or cheering from afar, this page has everything you need to plan your visit, understand event guidelines and make the most of this special day.
Commencement will be live streamed starting at 5pm on the day of. The link can be found on the main commencement page.
Arrive at least an hour before the ceremony begins. Doors open 60 minutes before the ceremony starts, giving you plenty of time to park and secure seating.
Use the WCC campus map to locate the ceremony and parking locations.
Tickets are not required for entry but we do ask that you are mindful of other guests as you arrive. Some restrictions on saving seats will be implemented.
With large crowds, reuniting can be tricky. Alpha signs will be set up for you to find your graduate by last names. Post-Ceremony meals will be provided to all graduates and their guests. Meals provided by the Windward Community College student government, TRiO SSS program and the Uala Leaf Cafe.

All requests for ADA accommodations or accessible materials for this event must be submitted to OCR at least seven (7) business days prior to the event or at the earliest possible opportunity.
Seating will be reserved for guests with accessibility needs (e.g., those in wheelchairs, motorized scooters or walking cane) along with one escort. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.
For any assistance, approach the seating ushers. Requests cannot be made in advance, and saving seats is not allowed.
Currently we do not have any interpreters, they may be provided upon request with enough notice.
Accessible parking is available for individuals with authorized disability permits or license plates. Follow the campus safety officers for the designated parking near ceremony. Information on directions and parking can be found on the Directions and Parking page.
