Are you interested in becoming our next graduation speaker or would you like to share your voice singing for our graduates and guests?

Student Speaker Eligibility

Student eligibility will be based on the following:

  • Conferred degree for Summer 2022, Fall 2022, Spring 2023
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Am I able to effectively represent the 2023 graduating class

Speakers will:

Prepare a 3 minute speech on one of the following topics: 

  • The value of a Liberal Arts education
  • The value of a community college
  • The value of giving back to the community

Speech must be uplifting and inspiring.

* Note cards may be used during the audition. (However, avoid reading your speech to the audience.)

Auditions will be rated based on these criteria:

  • Message 
  • Delivery 
  • Style
  • Overall Presentation 

Singers will:

  • Perform either Hawai’i Ponoī or Hawai’i Aloha
