  1. Graduation Certification (Diploma Only)
  • Verify completion of all degree requirements with your advisor
  • Step 1: Check Your Progress in STAR
    • Login to STAR to check your progress on the Academic Essentials tab
  • Meet with Your Academic Counselor
    • If it looks like everything is complete or you’re not sure, schedule an appointment with your academic counselor.
    • At this appointment, you and your counselor will review your degree requirements to verify your eligibility to graduate. If you have met all requirements, you and your counselor will complete the Graduation Certification Form.
  • Turn in Your Completed Graduation Certification Form by May 8, 2026
    • You may also choose to complete the bottom portion of the Graduation Certification Form to order a diploma, however, graduates are not obligated to purchase a diploma. There will be a $25 processing fee for you diploma to be sent.

    **Submitting a graduation certification does mean you will be participating in the Commencement Ceremony, you will also need to RSVP for participation.
  1. Get Your Gear
  • Purchase Cap and Gown from WCC Bookstore (now available)
    • Cap and gowns will be BLACK. If you have your own BLACK cap and gown that you would like to use please bring it to the Student Activity Center (Hale ‘Ākoakoa 232) for approval.

  • Lei giving on road near Hale ‘Ākoakoa top entrance

  • Food will be provided to all graduates and their guests in the Hale ‘Ākoakoa atrium
