Weeding and Wisdom starts this week in the Biomedical Garden Center
and will run until the end of this semester with The Botany Club
Garden Chat Series: Garden Chat 1

Speaker and Educator: Dr Inge White
Area / Topic: Orchids, oregano’s, papayas, dragon fruit, Vi or Wii apple, pake, ginger
Gardening: Hand Weeding and Mulching
Nutraceutical Food Tasting: This Week’s Dish – Garden salad dressing/dip.
Nutraceutical Harvest: Recipes and verbal instructions will be given on how to prepare
Attire: Closed Toed Shoes (mulch does attract centipede’s), gloves, hat, long pants
Bring: Plenty of Water and a way to jot down recipes
Volunteers will take home Nutraceutical foods grown in the BMGC and verbal instructions will be given on how to prepare your own Nutraceutical dish at home!
