Helping Students Become Better Writers

We’ll discuss strategies for helping students to improve their writing, including: developing central ideas or thesis statements, organizing paragraphs, and writing in complete sentences.

We’ll also discuss a few important academic support services (Ka Piko Writing Lab, Tutor.com, TRiO SSS) that can help students improve their writing and how these services benefit instructors as well!!
