EXPECT [respect]™ - Theatrical Performance by the Honolulu Theater for Youth

This performance of “Expect [respect]™” has been postponed until Fall. 

In commemoration of Sex Abuse Awareness Month (SAAM), the Honolulu Theater for Youth (HTY), in collaboration with T-Shirt Theater and The Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) will perform “EXPECT [respect]™,” a 60-minute theatrical performance and discussion highlighting the importance of respecting boundaries and empowering students to create a safe community. Through a series of short vignettes, the performance helps people identify unhealthy behaviors and to respond to negative situations in a respectful and helpful way.

This performance is a coordinated effort by four UHCC (Kap‘iolani CC, Leeward CC, Honolulu CC, and Windward CC) PAU Violence Committees and Title IX offices to unite and promote consistent prevention messages across UHCC campuses.
