Ireland’s rich history is visible in its landscape and seascape, from the dramatic Wild Atlantic Way to the sacred tombs of the ancients, the forts of the tribal chieftains, and the castles of the colonizers. This trip is a chance to experience this unique place, and learn in how mythology, geography, language and history shape culture – not just Irish culture, but all indigenous cultures.

There are many narratives we share with Hawai‘i, including fascinating comparisons with our native language, music, rituals, customs and traditions.
Highlights may include:

Ireland’s culture is rooted in an ancient past, filled with mythology and magic. Folklore and tradition are essential to our understanding of who we are and where we come from. Escape into other worlds of storytelling, music, nature, healing and confidence-building through this fantastic experience.

Immerse yourself in Irish culture; the food, the people, the music and the landscapes. We’ll visit cities and rural towns, eat at Irish restaurants, and meet people from across the island. Our field trips take you to ancient monuments, castles, museums, and our lecture program will fill you full of knowledge about our shared narratives.

We are located on the Wild Atlantic Way, home to the most beautiful breath taking scenery in Europe. You’ll visit cliffs, caves, you might choose a hike or a surf, or simply just absorb the beauty of our coast. Our small towns are friendly, safe places for everyone, with a sincere welcome for you.
The program fee of $2500 (incl. deposit) includes excursions, cultural activities, local transportation, lodging, and most meals. This fee does not include flights. Additional costs include passport fees, airfare, and spending money.
