(Dropping in & Booking appointments)
Students can drop-in in person or virtually anytime during drop-in (live) hours (while tutors are working).
In-Person: During drop-in hours, visit us in Hale Laʻakea (Library Learning Commons):
Virtual: Once logged in and on the waitlist, a unique Zoom room will be generated and sent to you via email/text. Connect with a tutor by following these steps:
Students can book an appointment with our services for a future tutoring session. Once you’ve booked an appointment, you will receive an email with the session’s Zoom link. Read our other online tutoring policies
Book an appointment by following these steps:
Submit your draft online for a comprehensive review by one of our tutors. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your scheduled review date. Your tutor will provide a .docx file featuring personalized feedback and strategic suggestions, returned to your inbox within 24 hours of the scheduled session. Note: tutors complete essay drop off sessions during regularly scheduled tutoring hours.

Experiencing writer’s block? Need help refining or organizing an essay? Writing Lab Tutors provide FREE assistance with writing needs at any stage of the writing process including: brainstorming, research, MLA formatting and citations, drafting, and revising
The Writing Lab is located in Hale Laʻakea (Library Learning Commons), room 222.
The Writing Lab is closed on weekends and holidays.
