Dr. Keanu Sai will be presenting on his recent publication:  Chapter 21 in Unconquered States: Non-European Powers in the Imperial Age published by Oxford University Press. 

Dr. Sai’s chapter, entitled “Hawai‘i’s Sovereignty and Survival in the Age of Empire was published recently. Oxford University Press (OUP) has made it official that the American occupation of the Hawaiian Kingdom, which began in1893, is the longest occupation in modern history.
