Makana Mele: Raiatea Helm

Windward Community College’s Hawai‘i Music Institute is proud to present a special scholarship concert honoring the achievements of Raiatea Helm, who recently won seven Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards in 2023, including Album of the Year.

The concert will also showcase WCC music lecturer Jeff Peterson and former Hawaiian music student Kapono Lopes, with performances featuring violin, steel guitar, upright bass, guitar, and ‘ukulele—a tribute to the music that shaped Hawaii’s cultural landscape.
