Students will learn what to search, how to search, and where to search for research projects or other assignments that require scholarly material. This will focus on the steps taken after the research problem/topic has been chosen. The workshop will start on explaining search terms, key words, and subject headings before exploring Boolean Operators. Then students will learn where to search for materials (databases) and briefly detail how to use them. The workshop will conclude with ways to evaluate resources and find other relevant material (RADAR method, citation chaining, citation mining).
