‘Ulu, breadfruit is traditionally baked on coals or steamed in an imu, it was peeled and eaten as a starchy dish or pounded into poi ‘ulu. It can be enjoyed and prepared as a fruit or a vegetable. Favored for its fiber, it can aide in keeping the body healthy.  ‘Ulu is nutritious, delicious, underutilized, and extremely versatile. In this class we will explore the versatility of ‘Ulu in the kitchen and how easy it can be incorporated in to your favorite dishes for all to enjoy.
