CPR/AED Workshop

UH’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) in partnership with East Oahu Farm Bureau and Windward Community College is having a workshop on CPR/AED.

(CPR/AED) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator presentation by Honolulu Fire Department Captain Kamehalani “Kama” Ortiz. This presentation can help in the survival rate in emergency situations especially in rural/farm areas where emergency services may take longer to arrive. Also, familiarization on the use of AED devices to respond to someone in distress of a cardiac arrest.
