The Creative Media Committee, having been informally established in Fall 2013, exists formally as a chartered group beginning Fall 2016 and continuing as long as Windward Community College offers Creative Media curriculum and opportunities. 

The Creative Media Committee supports Creative Media at Windward Community College via curriculum development, position development, the budgeting of Creative Media funding, and by creating and maintaining pathways and articulation agreements between campuses—in support of a cost-effective pathway to Creative Media education.
