Windward Community College Mental Health and Wellness is an essential resource to the entire campus community in dealing with mental health conditions and everyday life challenges.
The goal is to provide a range of counseling services and educational activities on campus to support students’ life goals as well as their academic goals.
We offer the following services, free of charge, to students currently enrolled at Windward Community College:

How Counseling Works
Mental health is a key part of your overall health. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional - they are a checkup from your neck up. This program is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire you will see your results, recommendations, and key resources.
Take a Confidential, Online Screening
On campus, all students begin with an initial appointment to assess their needs. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time complete necessary paperwork. All sessions are 45-50 minutes in length. A student whose needs exceeds the scope of Windward Community College Mental Health & Wellness Services will be referred to community resources or providers.
Windward Community College (WCC) Mental Health and Wellness maintains a confidential record of your counseling services. All parts of your counseling record are highly secured and are protected by both state and federal laws.
All aspects of your participation in counseling services through WCC Mental Health and Wellness, including the scheduling of appointments, content of counseling sessions, counseling records, and outcomes of counseling are confidential as required by confidentiality and privacy laws.
We do not release your information without written permission, except when required by law.
WCC Mental Health and Wellness is a designated Title IX confidential resource for all WCC students.
