THEA 260: Dramatic Production (3 credits)

Course Description

Introduction to the process of converting a play into a performance. Students are required to participate in at least two aspects of an actual production. 9 credits may be applied to the AA degree. (3 hours lecture)


Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify key theatrical terms and concepts.
  • Critically evaluate a theatrical event.
  • Work effectively in a theatrical environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of one particular area of focus through a presentation to the class and/or the instructor.
  • Participate effectively in one aspect of a theatrical event.
