OCN 220: Hawai‘i Fisheries (3 credits)

Course Description

Description and examination of Hawai‘i's commercial and recreational fisheries in terms of their biological basis in marine and fresh water food chains, their current size and importance in Hawai‘i, and their future prospects. (3 hours lecture)

Recommended Preparation: An introductory course in oceanography or zoology, reading, math, and study skills appropriate for 100 and 200 level courses.
