IS 261: People, the Ocean, and the Environmental Crisis (3 credits)

Course Description

Peoples impact on the quality of coastal and ocean environments, especially Hawaiian; scientific, legal, and socioeconomic aspects. Ocean pollution; ocean technology. (3 hours lecture)

Recommended Preparation: Credit for registration in OCN 201, ZOOL 200, SCI 124, or consent of instructor.
