The Commencement will begin at 1:00pm at Paliku Theatre.

Graduates should gather in Hale Pālanakila Room 225 no later than 12:00 noon.  You will pick up your name card and line up for the procession.

Doors open at 12:30, unreserved seating. Members of the audience will be directed to their seats by ushers.

The ceremony should be done by 2:30pm, followed by a reception in the main courtyard of Pālanakila.

For graduating students we suggest you wear comfortable attire under your gown, preferably dark-colored clothing and shoes. Graduation Cap and Gown can be picked up until May 14 - from the Bookstore. If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you are eligible to wear a tassel and stole.

Balloons are not allowed in the theatre. As our campus tries to be more sustainable, we encourage you to not bring balloons to the ceremony.

Note: a rehearsal will be held in Paliku Theater on Friday, May 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  All participants are strongly encouraged to attend.

Due to limited seating, tickets will be required for admission to the Commencement Ceremony in the theater. 

Commencement announcements and tickets for family and friends will be available from Christine at Student Services, Hale Akoakoa Room 212. 

Announcements and tickets are not reserved for students.  They are offered on a first-come, first served basis.  You will need to arrange to pick up announcements and tickets, during the distribution period.

Family and friends who do not have tickets, may view the ceremony by closed circuit television.  Certified graduates with commencement regalia may still participate in the ceremony.
