In order for aquatic organisms to survive, pH levels need to be within a certain range, usually between 6.5-8.2. Although mostly all our sites demonstrated normal pH levels, site 2 did exceed the range once with a pH of 8.32, as well as site 3 with a pH level of 8.84. Only a few aquatic life was present at all but site 5, so factors such as low DO, high turbidity and high temperature do have a cumulative effect on the stream life.
