"It's not too late to register for college" events in Waimanalo this summer

 
 

Windward Community College will offer residents of Waimanalo two opportunities for one-on-one assistance for registering for college right in their backyard: students

Wednesday, July 30                                               
5:30 – 8:00 p.m.                                            
at Waimanalo Homestead Association Halau

Saturday, August 9  
9 a.m. –5 p.m.
at Gabby Pahinui Waimanalo Kanikapila
Waimanalo Beach Park                  
Free!  

Counselors and college representatives will be on-hand ready to help fill out applications, talk about college programs, financial aid and the admissions process.

“We want the Waimanalo community to know that it’s not too late to register for college for the Fall 2014 semester. They will get our full attention with full services, from applying and accepting health clearances, to registering and setting a schedule for their fall classes,” said WCC Outreach Specialist Gus Cobb-Adams.

WCC college representatives who will be there include academic and admissions counselors, financial aid advisors, recruitment and outreach specialists, Education Talent Search counselors, student peer mentors and Ka Piko Student Success Services representatives.
