Mary Beth has a BS in astronomy and astrophysics from Pennsylvania State University and an MA in Educational Technology from San Diego State University. She recently moved to O‘ahu from the Big Island, where she worked at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) on Mauna Kea. During that tenure, she acted as the Service Observer, where she logged in some 400 nights on the summit, and as the CFHT Outreach Coordinator.
