Wonderful to see this course finally a part of our academic curriculum - it is critical to our Hawaiian Studies program, and very important for our science curriculum. In the past we have had Marine Option Program (MOP) students do studies in Hawaiian archaeology, as well. This is more than a note of approval, it is an offer to help with the course especially in geology and oceanography (have wanted to teach a geoarchaeology course on this campus for years...).
