8. Catalog DescriptionThis is the first of a rigorous, calculus-based course in physics for the professional or engineering majors. The study of the concepts of physics including the fundamental principles and theories of mechanics, energy, waves and thermodynamics. 
9. Pre-Requisites:Credit for MATH 205 or higher or equivalent or consent of instructor. 
10. Co-Requisites:PHYS 170L and credit for or registration in MATH 206 or equivalent, or consent of instructor.
