  Paula Scatoloni, LCSW - Anorexia and Bulimia Center of Hawaii (Therapist) and
Maureen Barcia, M.A., Psy.D candidate Argosy School of Professional Psychology
They will explore the impact of social pressure and the media on women’s experiences of their bodies through the years— resulting in the disconnection and rejection of the body--a key feature in eating disorders.

  Gary Francell
Gary has a Phd in Psychology and does private consulting for couples and businesses. His presentation will be about interpersonal relationships between men and women, with the ideas based on John Gray's book "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus"

Mazie Hirono
Mazie will talk about her life— Born in Fukushima, Japan and emigrated to Hawai'i in 1955. Graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1966; received a psychology degree from the University of Hawai'i-Manoa in 1970; law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1978, and the lieutenant governor of Hawaii from 1994-2002.
