What Brothers are For
My brother runs to me
on his tiny feet
brown hair flying everywhere
“thump, thump, thump, thump”
When he sees me he cries
“Lina!”
and watches silently
with kind eyes
When I’m alone he asks
to play soccer together
“You play with me?”
But when angry he
punches and kicks
“punch, punch, kick, kick”
But after all at night he tells me,
“Goodnight sis”
and hugs me
For I love him, and he loves me
for family is made to
love each other
