A Lonely Dress

While walking home

Alone

On a rainy day,

I see behind a glass window

A dress

Layered with crimson silk ruffles,

Glittering with jewels,

Beautiful

Beyond my imagination.

Upon a closer look,

I notice a long

Snag

Right down the middle.

For this reason,

No one will buy it.

But I will.
