The College and Career Fair at WCC is the place to be on Tuesday, April 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Don’t wait to find your dream job, get a head start on your career or meet with college representatives. This is your chance to find the right college and talk to potential employers, all in one place.
Getting a “foot in the door” in a new career area can be overwhelming. Finding the right entry-level job or college program can take months of research. At the College and Career Fair, individuals will have an opportunity to meet with over 60 employers and college representatives. This event is FREE and open to WCC students and the community.
“The WCC College and Career Fair will be a great place to network with employers and schools in almost any career area,” says career counselor Sarah Hodell. And, businesses are looking for students to come work for them.”
Employers such as Cultural Surveys Hawai‘i and the Hawai‘i Department of Education will be offering employment for students.
Other businesses and government agencies will include Headstart, City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii Corrections/Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Geological Survey-Hydrology Division, Hardware Hawaii, YMCA, Castle Medical Center, Kaneohe Marine Corp. Community Services and more.
Colleges represented will be: University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, Hilo and West Oahu, Chaminade, BYU, University of Phoenix, Argosy University, Hawaii Pacific University and the UH Community Colleges.
The event is co-sponsored by the Employment Training Center, Windward Community College Student Services, and The Associated Students of the University of Hawai`i – WCC. The University of Hawai‘i is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Institution.
