Agamemnon

Renowned British playwright Steven Berkoff’s modern adaptation of Aeschylus’ masterpiece uses darkly intense, poetic text to examine the interminable horror of revenge. Highlighting the cursed House of Atreus, imagined episodes from the Trojan War, the fate of Cassandra, the tragedy of a married couple forced to live apart for ten years, and the destiny of a hubris-filled hero, this anti-war play includes choral odes and stage combat.

A Theatre 260 production
