SCI 123: Introduction to Science: Hawaiian Perspectives (4 credits)Course Description
Characteristics of science and its interaction with society, illustrated by topics in geology, archaeology, astronomy, oceanography and biology of the Hawaiian Islands. Lecture/laboratory/field trip course designed for non-science majors.(3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory)
Recommended Preparation: High school biology or earth science.
