Catalog Description
This web-enhanced* course is designed to prepare students for the Computer and Information Literacy Exam. This is a CIL preparatory course; passing this course does not guarantee passing the CIL exam. Students who have received credit for or are currently enrolled in ICS 102 may not receive credit for ICS 105E to use toward the AA degree. *WebCT is used as a course management tool. (1 hr. lect.)
Recommended Preparation: Basic keyboarding; familiarity with word processing.

- Locate and evaluate credible information.
- Accurately cite information.
- Develop ethical awareness of Internet usage.
- Produce an online Web published product (web folio) displaying skills.
