Hawaii’s economic guru, Paul Brewbaker, will offer his take on this season’s Common Book, Freakonomics, , Don’t miss this chance to hear from one of the most respected economists in Hawaii — not withstanding that he’s also a product of the Windward side. Formerly a chief economist for Bank of Hawaii before becoming principal of TZ economics, Brewbaker is often sought for his perspectives by local businesses and media.

Denise Konan is an Economics Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Elijah Frost is a WCC graduate and an Economics major at UHM. They will present their research on the effects of climate change on Hawaii's Economy.
