Chancellor's Message, May 18, 2013
Mahalo to the Commencement Committee,
In addition to the numbers of graduates marching which broke all records, our total # of graduates broke above the 200 mark for the first time. The ceremony was memorable in so many ways, but the impromptu hula performed by one of our soon to be graduated students will be in my memory bank for ever hereafter. Another first for this ceremony was to be seen in our garb which included the kihei in matching colors and design. Mahalo to all who planned and executed a flawless event that produced warm memories for all. Mahalo as well to the many volunteers working behind the scenes to honor our graduates.
