11:15am to 12:30pm
This year's Performance of Literature (SP231) performance will be Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine. This is the story of summer, 1928, in a small midwest town. You may be familiar with some of Bradbury's other novels, including Fahrenheit 451 and The Illustrated Man.
Everyone is encouraged to attend this production. We would like to see as many people as possible show their appreciation to this class for their free performance.
Contact Alan Ragains for more information.
From the Introduction:
The wine still waits in the cellars below.
My beloved family still sits on the porch in the dark.
The fire balloon still drifts and burns in the night sky of an as yet unburied summer.
Why and how?
Because I say it is so.
