How to Apply

It’s easy.

An online application is available.

The start of the semester is just around the corner!

Fall Semester –Priority deadline August 1, applications accepted starting in February. Initial notification of admissions status starting in March and within two weeks thereafter.

Applications may be accepted after the priority deadline, please check with the Admissions and Records office. Applications submitted after the priority deadline must be made in person and be complete, including health clearances.

Spring Semester –Priority deadline December 1, applications accepted starting in September. Initial notification of admissions status starting in October and within two weeks thereafter.

Applications may be accepted after the priority deadline, please check with the Admissions and Records office. Applications submitted after the priority deadline must be made in person and be complete, including health clearances.

Summer –Priority deadline May 1, applications accepted starting in February. Initial notification of admissions status starting in March and within two weeks thereafter.

Who is Eligible?

You are eligible to apply to Windward CC if you are:

  • 18 years of age by the first day of instruction or
  • a U.S. high school graduate or equivalent (GED - more information is available from the Department of Education)

Submit an application form if you are:

  • a first-time college student
  • not currently enrolled at a UH campus
  • a returning student (previously attended but not currently enrolled at a UH campus)
  • a transfer student (currently or previously enrolled at a non-UH institution)

Veterans are encouraged to apply for Veterans' Affairs Education benefits


Health Requirements

Health clearances are required by the Hawaii Department of Health. You must have proof of Tuberculosis (TB) clearance and Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) immunization.


Student Registering for Online and other Distance Education Courses

Students who are only registering for online courses must still satisfy all of the requirements for other students. This includes TB and MMR health clearances, regardless of whether the student will be on campus or not.
