Tropical Plant and Orchid Identification Facility: Inouye and Rifai Collections is located in Hale Imiloa, Room 112-A. Click here to view a map of the campus.
The facility provides a free plant identification service, focusing on plants of Hawaii, tropical plants of Asia and the Pacific, and orchids.
Fresh samples of branches, flowers or fruits should be hand-delivered to the facility.
Information regarding plant names and ethnobotanical uses will be mailed to the sender within a week.
